Paula R. Amor - Founder
Paula R. Amor an American author, producer, playwright, creative director, actress, voice-over artist, poet, host and curator hales from Long Island NY. Currently a resident of Loganville, GA. Paula is also the founder and president of a non-profit organization that advocates for Mental Health Awareness, Substance Use and Suicide Prevention known as The Greenhouse Project.
The Greenhouse Project was founded in 2023 by Paula R. Amor. Having served as a mental health advocate and creative for over 20 years, Paula had her own bout with depression and suicidal thoughts. After the lost of her father in 2021 Paula went on a two year healing journey. Taking to art and outdoor therapy, she has overcome the dark side of depression. However, Paula has watched how intergenerational trauma, depression and death by suicide has ruined the lives of her creative counterparts.
She is the host of Sol Frequency Friday Intimate Concert Series. A creative platform for local visual artists and performers to showcase their talent. Paula made her first debut as an American Playwright with Xposed What Lies Beneath (2005) as critics and audience goers gave great reviews Paula continued her journey as a playwright produce such productions as I Don’t Wanna A Church Man (2011), The Red Lipstick Monologues (2015), Flowers In An Attic (2019), Regal The American Black Woman (2020) and Alchemy The Art Elixirs (2023). With several productions under her belt Paula’s career in the field of acting, directing, playwriting, producing, and curating has won her respect nationwide. This American Writer and Entertainer shares this nation's story of the many unsung and underrepresented women of color who have paved the way.
A survivor of ovarian cancer, intergenerational trauma and sexual abuse, Paula has committed her life’s journey to helping others gain their voice and freedom through art, outside and plant therapy.
